PRIVATE NUTRITON CONSULTATIONS & MONTHLY MAINTENANCE FOLLOW-UPS

AGES 7-11 yrs. Class Type/Size: Group 4-8 students, Boys and girls only.
Class Category: "All Weight & BMI categories. " (50th%'le & up.) Body Mass Index (BMI) range 16 & up.
Winter, Summer, Spring & Fall Sessions. Length : 1 hour once a week. This is an introductory and/or maintenance after-school/camp nutrition education enrichment program. The focus here is on healthy eating habits, increasing physical activity skills and how all foods can have a place in a healthy balanced diet while fostering awareness about obesity prevention. Students learn about body-friendly foods that are needed for continued growth and development and how exercise gives them the energy they need for sports and other physical activities that they can enjoy. Nutrition and fitness topics vary weekly and concepts are taught through a variety of fun hands-on age-appropriate activities and games teaching them how to "Think their drinks," "Face the Fats," "Skip rope not breakfast," create their own healthy meal & snack plans," "understand portion-sizing," and differentiate between "low & high" nutrient-dense foods foods that help keep their bodies and immune system healthy & strong.

8 WEEK "NUTRI-KICK"
CARDIO-KICKBOXING WORK-OUT (Level II)
AGES 8-12 & 13-17 yrs. Class Type/Size: Group 4-8 students, Boys and girls only.
Class Category: "Healthy Weight & At Risk For being Overweight" (50th-90th%'le for weight) Body Mass Index (BMI) range 16-25. Winter & Summer Sessions. Length : 1-1/2 hours once a week. In this afterschool/camp nutrition & fitness education enrichment program tweens & teens learn through a hands-on interactive workshop basic nutrition & fitness principles that will give them the understanding and knowledge they need to make healthier lifestyle choices which help prevent obesity later in life. It is a perfect first step introduction combination program for getting children & adolescents excited and motivated to eat healthy foods, try new ones, become more physically active and see some of the benefits of adopting and implementing small positive behavior changes over time. Students who would like to continue and lose weight if necessary, can go on to enroll in our moderate-intensive weight management programs.

Payment: All programs are self-pay and range from $40.00 a week and up based upon full session enrollment. 
Pre-registration & fee required.
AGES 8-12 & 13-17 yrs. Parents, Children & Adolescents 1 hour private nutrition and fitness initial consultations and after-program monthly, quarterly or yearly maintenence nutrition follow/check-ups are available to give parents the support in helping keep their kids on track with their newly adopted lifestyle nutriton & fitness behaviors, adjust and make modifications as necessary, enabling them to continue to "grow into and maintain a healthy age-appropriate weight range." Hours are arranged by appointment.
