-
Eliminates the need of kids and parents from having to be a "food science detective" in order to understand nutrition facts labeling when grocery shopping
-
Saves parents time and money wasted on food products that their kids dislike and wont eat
-
Younger kids can easily identify a healthy food that they know other kids have tried and like giving them a positive incentive to try it as well
-
Incorporates gender, age-appropriate nutritional needs of children and adolescents ages 6-15
-
Parents can enroll their child or adolescent in our healthy lifestyle nutrition education center monthly for our on-going taste-testing healthy food brand awareness program
-
Kid taste-tester panels consist of boys and girls ages 6-15 and are screened for food allergies prior to tasting session
-
Students are presented foods and beverages in a fun, positive professional manner to taste in a non-biased way without any verbal or written opinions, attitudes, beleifs, packaging, marketing, advertsing tactics and or monetary compensation, in an effort to help promote unadulterated feedback
-
Kids love to taste-test foods and give us their pure, honest and candid opinion
-
Approval rating is based on how students rank the product for looks, smell, texture, taste and if their parents should buy, make or serve it.
-
When approval rating results are at least 70% percent positive the food or beverage product is given the "One Potato Two Tomato" seal of approval.
-
Approved food and beverage products are then put on our recommended healthy foods list and incorporated into our age-group appropriate customized nutritionally balanced "kids healthy meal plan menus"
