Time: Weekdays after school, evenings, and mini day camp; 60 minutes: Healthy cooking and food science; 30 minutes: "muscle-mix-up" functional fitness workout

Description: Little Sprouts and Spuds is an after-school healthy lifestyle education enrichment program. Students have the opportunity to be physically active after school with our fun fitness workout & then create & eat their own healthy balanced meal for dinner. It is designed for kids who have an interest or would like to develop one in the area of healthy eating & cooking, nutrition science and fitness education. This program offers a great combination of age-appropriate nutrition, cooking, and fitness for elementary and middle school aged children. Through a 1.5-hour session, we'll teach your child the importance of healthy eating, how to make healthy foods at home with parent support, and a fun way to burn calories and stay fit!
